What is the resolution of my image?

The resolution value is the number of pixels from your image that will print.

How do I check the pixels of my image?

To check the pixel count of an image on a PC:

Right-click on the imageChoose PropertiesClick DetailsUse the Image section to see the image dimensions in pixels, or the General section to see the image file sizeTo check the pixel count of an image on a Mac:Control-click on the imageChoose Get InfoClick More InfoUse the More Info section to see the image dimensions in pixels, or the file sections to see the image file size

How many pixels should my image be?

This will depend on what size of print you choose. In the ordering process, after you upload your image, if it does not meet the minimum requirements there will be a warning notification.

What print size can I get with my photos resolution?

To determine the possible print size, divide the width and height of the image in pixels, by the resolution value.

For example, a width of 3600 pixels, divided by the resolution value of 300dpi, means that my image will print at a width of roughly 12 inches. And a height of 2400 pixels divided by 300dpi means that the height of my image, when printed, will be roughly 8 inches. For more information, check out this useful link here.

The resolution of my photo is too low, what can I do?

If your image resolution is too small for the print size you want, try seeking out the original image if you don't already have it. For example, if you are trying to use an image you downloaded from Facebook, the overall quality of the photo has been impacted. This is because Facebook compresses photos you have uploaded to save space. If you downloaded a photo from Facebook that you previously uploaded, you may not be able to use it for a print as the resolution has been impacted. If this is the case, try finding the original photo.
