FAQ

Preparing Your Files

The format files we accept are jpeg, tiff and png. The maximum file size our site allows is 500MB.

To check the file type on a PC:

  • Right-click on the image
  • Choose Properties

  • Use the General section to see the Type of File

In order to achieve the closest color to your original image file that’s possible, we recommend correcting to Adobe RGB (1998) and correcting on a calibrated monitor.

If you are trying to upload an image and you get an error message, there may have been a network error or technical issue. If you experience this issue please try refreshing your browser and uploading the image again. Otherwise please contact our customer service and we’ll be happy to help.

The resolution value is the number of pixels from your image that will print.

To check the pixel count of an image on a PC:

  • Right-click on the image
  • Choose Properties
  • Click Details
  • Use the Image section to see the image dimensions in pixels, or the General section to see the image file size
To check the pixel count of an image on a Mac:
  • Control-click on the image
  • Choose Get Info
  • Click More Info
  • Use the More Info section to see the image dimensions in pixels, or the file sections to see the image file size

This will depend on what size of print you choose. In the ordering process, after you upload your image, if it does not meet the minimum requirements there will be a warning notification.

To determine the possible print size, divide the width and height of the image in pixels, by the resolution value.

For example, a width of 3600 pixels, divided by the resolution value of 300dpi, means that my image will print at a width of roughly 12 inches. And a height of 2400 pixels divided by 300dpi means that the height of my image, when printed, will be roughly 8 inches. For more information, check out this useful link here.

If your image resolution is too small for the print size you want, try seeking out the original image if you don't already have it. For example, if you are trying to use an image you downloaded from Facebook, the overall quality of the photo has been impacted. This is because Facebook compresses photos you have uploaded to save space. If you downloaded a photo from Facebook that you previously uploaded, you may not be able to use it for a print as the resolution has been impacted. If this is the case, try finding the original photo.

Taking Care of Your Prints

If your order hasn’t been processed yet, you may still be able to make a change to it. Please call 855-258-6469 with your order number as soon as you can to request a change. We are open Monday-Friday from 10-6 EST.

Our prints are .045” in thickness.

The corners of our prints are .08” in radius.

We offer both the white and silver surface. The silver surface will transform your image. Anything white or light in your image will actually show up as the raw aluminum, or silver, itself. If you are looking for results true to your original image file, you should stick with the white surface.

We offer a glossy and matte finish. The glossy finish has a nice reflective quality to it and really makes your image “pop”, whereas the matte finish will have no glare, and will appear more subtle.

Our Aluminyzed prints have been lab tested to show that they will hold up to 3x longer than a standard photo printed on paper.

We have a variety of mounting options available for your photos: magnets, easels, pedestals, wall floats, and aluminum edge mount frames. For more information, click here.
